Healthcare
Ensuring preventive, curative, and promotive healthcare for wellbeing
In rural and underserved communities, poor health often goes unspoken until it becomes life-threatening. ESAF Foundation addresses this with a comprehensive approach to healthcare, from mental health awareness and community-based prevention to institutional care and frontline training. We bridge gaps by reaching those excluded from routine systems, integrating community insight with professional support to ensure health is a shared right.

What We Do
We strengthen community and institutional systems to make healthcare more accessible, inclusive and responsive to people’s lived realities.
Promote mental wellbeing at the grassroots
Through ESAF Santhwana, we deliver awareness sessions, life skills training, and counselling support to address stigma, build resilience and foster help-seeking behaviour.
Deploy frontline community health workers
Arogyasakhis are trained women health leaders who provide door-to-door education on hygiene, nutrition, screenings and early treatment, serving thousands of low-income households.
Deliver affordable institutional care
ESAF Hospital and Research Centre provides compassionate, round-the-clock healthcare in a rural setting, with multispecialty services and a team of dedicated professionals.
Train and mentor next-generation nurses
Deenabandhu School of Nursing equips young women with clinical training, hands-on experience and global career opportunities in the healthcare sector.
Improve health outcomes through community awareness
We organise health camps, school campaigns, street plays and exhibitions to spread awareness on preventive health, hygiene, and healthy diets.
